FAQ

FAQ

Q: Is the first lesson really free?

A: Yes — completely free, no payment details required, no automatic enrolment. Your first lesson lasts 45 minutes and is designed for us to get to know each other, understand your goals, and plan the right learning path for you. There is zero pressure to continue.

Q: Do I need any materials or preparation?

A: Nothing at all. Come as you are. All learning materials are prepared by your teacher and shared digitally during the lesson. You only need a device with a camera and microphone and a stable internet connection.

Q: What is the difference between MSA and Levantine Arabic?

A: Modern Standard Arabic (الفصحى) is the formal written language used across all Arab countries — in books, news and official documents. Levantine Arabic (الشامي) is the living, spoken dialect of Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine — warm, musical and ideal for real conversation. We will help you choose the right one — or teach you both.

Q: How often should I take lessons?

A: For steady progress, we recommend 2 lessons per week. One lesson per week works well for slower-paced learners or those with busy schedules. Intensive learners can take 3–4 lessons per week. We design the schedule around your life.

Q: What platform are lessons held on?

A: Lessons are held via Zoom or Google Meet. We use a shared digital whiteboard, PDF materials, and video and audio clips to make learning engaging and varied. Your tutor will provide you with everything.

Q: I am an absolute beginner. Can I really learn Arabic?

A: Absolutely. Many of our most successful students started with no Arabic whatsoever. Most beginners can read and write basic words within the first week. After that, everything opens up. The key is consistency — and we will guide you every step of the way.

Q: Do you teach kids?

A: Courses and private sessions are for adults mostly. Send us an inquiry with all the details and we will be in touch asap to discuss your case.
